Journey Groups –
These small groups are built for discussion and learning in a more intimate environment. Groups are typically 10 to 15 students with two leaders. Throughout the week of camp, journey groups examine and explore passages of Scripture, tough topics and life application from lessons learned throughout the week.
Praise & Worship –
Our campers have the opportunity to enter into worship of the Lord in an environment that encourages them to worship freely and passionately. Morning worship typically includes some time to learn new songs while evening worship solely focuses on the throne of the Lord.
Keynote Speakers –
Each night, we’ll have a speaker deliver a lesson that highlights the most important aspect of the day’s theme. Speakers may differ on a nightly basis but the goal is always to help our campers explore the Word of the Lord in powerful and challenging ways.
Follies & Canteen –
Follies is a time for fun, laughter and encouraging one another. It isn’t a talent show but it gives our campers the opportunity to demonstrate special skills or interesting skits in front of the entire camp. Canteen is where the campers get snacks and have a time of relaxing and fellowship before follies.
Team Games & Free Time –
Each afternoon, we have about an hour of physical activity to encourage relationship-building and physical health. Often we connect to one another through activity, so we take this time to play fun, ridiculous and exciting games together. Some days even include water to cool down from the Texas summer heat! The campers also have free time each day, which includes a variety of options such as crafts, swimming, sports and board games.
