What is Camp Koinonia?
Camp K is a Christian summer camp in Central Texas that encourages pre-teens and teenagers to learn more about God and how to apply their faith to every day experiences. Our goals are to deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to campers in a powerful way, and to make sure that every camper experiences true Christian fellowship.
Who can attend Camp K?
Camp K is for pre-teen, junior high and high school students. Boys and girls going into the 5th grade through 2012 high school graduates are all eligible to attend camp. All students, regardless of religious affiliation, are welcome.
When is Camp K?
June 24 - June 29 is senior week for high school students entering 9th grade through 2012 high school graduates.
July 1 - July 6 is junior week for middle school students entering 5th through 8th grade.
Where is Camp K?
We use the facilities at Hensel Youth Camp, located about 30 miles west of IH-35 just off FM-1431 towards Marble Falls, Texas. Directions to Camp Hensel
What is the cost of Camp K?
Camp K is one of the greatest values in Christian summer camps at only $185, if registered before June 1. This covers the entire week of camp, including food & lodging, all crafts, activities, snacks, and a camp t-shirt. A $30 deposit is required with the online application. The remainder of the camp cost is due on or before June 1, 2012. Campers not paid in full by this date are subject to lose their reservation and deposit to other students who are on the waiting list. For campers registering on or after June 1, the price of Camp K will be $205 (this helps offset costs associated with later registrations). |
